If you are experiencing trouble with your browser's Back button, where it seems
stuck on the CLP home page, here following is an explanation.
TECHNICAL EXPLANATION:
Our internet service provider does not support automatic file inclusion substitution
among .Html pages. Instead, .Shtml extensions must be used.
Yet our ISP has Welcome.Html as the default web page, the page which is found
when a person browses to simply
http://CastleLong.com/ (or to http://www.CastleLong.com/).
It was thus necessary to have Welcome.Html auto-redirect users to Welcome.Shtml,
an action which the Back button remembers.
From the CLP home .Shtml page, hitting the Back button might navigate to the .Html
home page, which immediately re-directs to the .Shtml.
IMPERFECT WORK-AROUND:
Thus where convenient, it is possible that navigations to the CLP home page
be in the longer form of http://CastleLong.com/Welcome.Shtml (the .Shtml file name
being included explicitly). Thus the Back button has no history of .Html
to affect its behavior.
The drawbacks to this work-around include the possibility that CLP may someday
switch to another ISP. There the .Shtml may be obsolete. Omitting the file name,
as in the shorter form of
http://www.CastleLong.com/ should always work.
